Something About the Artist (David Bendiola bio)
David Bendiola grew up in Arizona enjoying the Cowboy way of life where he still lives. David is the grandson of the famous Mariano Bendiola, known for his lariats made of horsehair. David learned this unique and vanishing art from his grandfather and uncles. David was taught this art at an early age and over the past half century has become a "Master".
David's baskets are made from thousands of individual horsehairs and hundreds of hours of work. Their unusual sizes, shapes and patterns make them some of the most collectible of all Native American baskets.
David hopes that you enjoy them as much as he has enjoyed creating them. Each basket comes with its own signed "Certificate of Authenticity".
